BBQ Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon minced onions
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper to taste

Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Mix meatball ingredients and form into large meatballs.
  4. Mix topping ingredients together in a saucepan on low heat until blended.
  5. Pour topping over meatballs and bake for 1 hour, covered.

    These were so delicious! I doubled the topping ingredients, using about 3/4 on the meatballs and reserving the rest to heat and pour over each serving as desired. Best meatballs I’ve ever tasted!

    Excellent meatballs. Kids like them. Easy to eat. I increased topping recipe by 50%. I made the meatballs 1.5 to 2 inches which really fills a 9×13 full full. Might want to use a 10×15 or cut the recipe.
