Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 5 ounces white sugar
  • 4 ounces brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon mace (or nutmeg)
  • 1 pound cake flour
  • 4 ounces chopped pecans or walnuts, if desired

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients together until crumby using a pastry blender or mixer.
