Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage, cooked & drained
  • 1 (15-ounce) can corn, do not drain
  • 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, do not drain
  • 1 (15-ounce) cankidney beans, do not drain
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Great Northern beans – do not drain
  • 1 (15-ounce) can seasoned (Mexican, or garlic) diced tomatoes – do not drain
  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch
  • 2 packets taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups water
  • Additional ingredients: shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, sour cream, tortilla chips

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large pot; simmer about 20 minutes. Garnish with cheddar, green onions, and sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips. This can also be prepared in a crock pot and cooked 6-8 hours on low.
