Grandma Kay’s Canadian Meat Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground pork
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 large finely diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon poultry dressing
  • 2 teaspoons sage
  • 1/4 clove garlic-whole
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 double crust pie pastry

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix all ingredients (except pie crust). Cook on stovetop for 30-45 minutes. Remove garlic. Cool. Fill pies shells, cover with pie crust. Bake 350 F for 50 minutes. Enjoy!!
